Sustainable Sourcing

Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in every piece of furniture we make. We source our wood from highly sustainable forestry practices, ensuring that we are not contributing to deforestation or other harmful practices. One source that we are proud to use, is re-discovered hardwood species from the bottom of a Tasmanian valley that was once flooded for a hydroelectric dam. This wood has spent decades submerged in tanin-rich water, giving it a unique and superior quality, making it a truly special material to work with. By using this wood, we are not only reducing waste and repurposing a valuable resource, but also creating furniture that has a rich history and unique character. Our skilled craftsmen transform this exceptional material into high-quality, timeless pieces that will last a lifetime.

Our Re-Foresting Initiative

We are proud to have a reforesting initiative, where a portion of all our sales are donated to Re-Forest Now, an Australian not-for-profit, who focus on planting hardwood trees where they are needed most. This allows you to have a positive impact on the environment with every purchase.
